2-Mile and 5-Mile Races FAQ

Can I register online?  Yes, click here to register online.  Do it now and save:  individual registration on-line is $20, but after Friday, July 20, it increases to $22 -- so register now!

What is the last day I can register and where?  Your last chance to register is on Saturday, July 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the packet pick-up area at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.  It's most convenient and cost-effective to pre-register on-line at www.bit.ly/2012races.   Check back periodically for further information.

Is there Race Day registration?  Sorry -- NO Race Day registration. 

Where do I pick up my packet? Race packets will be available on Saturday, July 28, at the Pro Football Hall of Fame, 2121 George Halas Dr., Canton, OH 44708, beginning at 9:00 am until 4:00 pm.  Please use the McKinley High School Parking Lot when you pick up your packets.  On race day, packets may be picked up on the grounds of the Football HOF, please follow the signage.

Where do I park for packet pick-up and on Race Day? Ample parking is available at the McKinley High School parking lot at 2327 -- 17^th Street, NW -- adjacent to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

May I pick up my friend or family member's race packet?  Yes, but please be cautioned that a new packet will NOT be issued if on Race Day a runner does not have his/her number -- so please be careful.

Where is the 2-Mile Start? The 2-Mile Race starts in Stadium Park near the shuffle board area.  All runners will meet at the front of the Pro Football Hall of Fame for the invocation and will then be led to the starting area.

Where is the 5-Mile Start?  The 5-Mile Race starts at the south end of McKinley High School by the Field House entrance. 

Where is the Kids Fun Run Start? The Kids Fun Run starts by the large electronic sign in the upper parking lot of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

What is the age limit and where do I register by child for the Kids Fun Run?  The Kids Fun Run is for youngsters six and under, and you may register your child at the Pro Football Hall of Fame either on packet pick-up day, Saturday, July 28, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. or on Race Day, Sunday July 29, 7:15 am – 7:45 am, at the Kids Fun Run tent.

Where is the finish line for all races?  All races will finish right in front of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, a perfect photo opportunity for all!

Are pets allowed on the race course?  Sorry -- no pets allowed.

Are strollers permitted on the race course?  Strollers are permitted but must not interfere with runners or walkers.

Are walkers allowed on the course? Walkers are permitted on the 2-Mile Race.  Walkers are not prohibited in the 5-Mile Race, but please be advised that the race course will be opened to vehicular traffic on 12^th Street approximately one hour after the commencement of the 5-Mile Race, and official race times will be guaranteed only for participants who finish the 5-Mile Race within one hour and 40 minutes.

Is the 5-Mile Competitive Walk for recreational walkers?  This competitive walk is for serious walkers only, and walkers must maintain an 18 minute pace.
