ENSHRINEES DINNER

The festivities begin with electricity in the air as nearly 4,000 guests start their evening with a gala cocktail party.  The excitement continues with a delectable bill of fare followed by an emotionally charged program emceed by a sportscaster of national acclaim.  Past emcees have included such well-known sportscasters as Howard Cosell, Bob Costas, Chris Berman, Greg Gumble, Pat Summerall, and Al Michaels.

The program begins with the returning Hall of Famers and NFL team owners welcoming the current class of Enshrinees into their exclusive fraternity.  The crowning moment occurs when the Enshrinees receive their Hall of Fame/NFL Alumni gold sport coat, a final step on their way to induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.  Since the Pro Football Hall of Fame was established in 1963, only 241 football greats have been inducted into the Hall and have the privilege of wearing the gold coat.
