QUEEN PAGEANT

The Queen's Pagean was held on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at the historical Canton Palace Theatre with 49 hopeful contestants competing for the honor of being chosen Queen or a member of the Court to represent Stark County and the surrounding area as an ambassador for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival.  Click here for the results.

Each year, the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival chooses a Queen and the number of court members to coincide with the number of the new class of Enshrinees who will be enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.  The Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival Queen and Court members are chosen on the basis of personality, poise, beauty, communication skills, academic achievement and service to community.

Numerous gifts given to the Queen and Court members from our generous community sponsors.  The Queen and Court serve as role models and ambassadors for the Stark County community, participating in activities with civic organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Turnaround Community Outreach Center, MRDD and many more, plus greeting many guests at most of the 15 events during the 10-day Festival.  One of the most memorable experiences for the Queen and Court is their ride on the float in the Timken Grand Parade.
