THE PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME FESTIVAL --
IT’S A ONE OF A KIND CELEBRATION! and
“THE BEST OF STARK COUNTY”

The Pro Football Hall of Fame Festival was named winner in the “best special community event/festival” category during the “Best of Stark County” awards luncheon held on May 18 at Amish Door as part of Destination Stark County Month.

The tourism department of the Canton/Stark County Convention & Visitors’ Bureau teamed with a National Tourism Week committee to plan events to continue to bring attention to the vast array of attractions and entities that promote and grow tourism throughout Stark County.  The “Best of Stark County” contest was based on 11 categories, and more than 2,000 ballots were cast.

The entire Pro Football Hall of Fame Festival staff was present to accept the award from John Kiste, Executive Director of the Canton/Stark County Convention & Visitors’ Bureau.  Pictured here are:  (front) Chris Gumpp, Marketing & Event Manager; Eric Belden, Sponsorship Manager.  (back) Tonya Stuck, Operations & Event Manager; Karen Khourey, Administrative Specialist/Event Coordinator; Kiste; Joanne Murray, Festival Director; Kathy Lindenberger, Souvenir & Event Manager; Kim Miller, Ticket & Event Manager.
