What constitutes a “professional” photographer? For the purpose of this contest, a professional photographer is defined as "a person who earns more than one-fourth of their income from photography." Any person who has a press pass, field pass, or all access pass must enter under the "professional" category.
How do I submit a photo to the photo contest? The deadline for photo submission was September 18, 2015. Check back for the 2016 Photo Contest brochure which contains the rules and regulations of the contest.
What is the entry fee? The entry fee is $10 for up to ten (10) photos.
How many photos can I submit? You can submit as many photos as you like. If you want to submit more than ten, an additional $10 is required for each ten (10) photos submitted.
How do I pay the entry fee? You can pay by check made payable to CRCC or by cash or credit card.
What size photograph should be entered? Photographs can be as small as 5 x 7 and no larger than 8 ½ x 11.
How will my photograph be judged? There are three (3) photographic expert judges. Judging consists of eight (8) rounds of evaluation in each event category in the professional and non-professional divisions. The judges will select a first place winner in each category for each division (professional and non-professional) from among all eligible entries, based on the following criteria: (1) photographic quality including focus, lighting, color and sharpness; (2) creativity; and (3) the ability to capture the spirit of the Enshrinement Festival. The Best of Show award is selected from all photographs entered in the contest.
When will the winners be announced? Winners will be chosen in October, and each winner will be notified by mail soon thereafter.
What are the prizes? The first-place winner in each category will receive a $100 cash prize. One “Best of Show” winner will receive $250, and each honorable mention will receive a $25 cash prize.
Will my photography be seen on-line? Selected entries and the entrants' names may be published on the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival Web site.
