Queen Pageant FAQ

When can I get an application?  Sorry -- the March 12th application deadline has now passed, but we'd love to have you enter next year, so check our Website again next January for application details.

How are contestants judged?  It's important to note that this is far more than just a beauty pageant.  Contestants are also judged on the basis of personality, poise, communication skills, academic achievement, and service to community. Prior to Pageant night, contestants have a face-to-face interview with a panel of impartial judges.  At the Pageant, all contestants participate in a production number and are featured in evening gowns.  The field is then narrowed to 25 semi-finalists, all of whom express their platform issue in not more than 30 seconds.  The judges then select the 15 finalists, each of whom draws a random question to answer, allowing the judges to see how their poise and personality shines through.  Judges then submit their final vote for a Queen and Court members to coincide with the number of Enshrinees in this year's Class of Enshrinees.  However, we can say without reservation that all contestants are true winners and outstanding examples of the quality of today's younger generation!

What is the Pageant ticket price?  All seats are reserved at $18 each.  Tickets can be purchased now at the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, Canton Auto Club and Massillon Auto Club.

What should I wear if I plan to attend the Pageant?  Most patrons wear business attire to this event.

Where do I park?  There should be ample on-street parking, as well as at nearby surface parking lots.

What time should I arrive and how long does the Pageant last?  Doors open at 6:30 p.m., the Pageant begins promptly at 7:00 p.m,, and festivities should conclude approximately 9:45 p.m.
