Join runners and walkers for our fifth annual UP, UP & AWAY 5K, on Saturday, July 31 at the beautiful Kent State University at Stark campus while hot air balloons float in the sky (weather permitting).

What a beautiful day for our PFHOFEF Up, Up & Away 5K, Saturday, July 27! We want to thank everyone for participating in this great event. The weather was perfect for the hot air balloons to fly over while as our runners and walkers enjoyed the campuses of Kent State at Stark and Stark State College. All of our sponsors are exceptional in helping make the event possible. Our teams of volunteers work hard to make this event competitive and family oriented for everyone. Special thanks to Dave Fisher, chairman, Jeff Hill, vice chairman and the entire PFHOFEF Up, Up & Away 5k committee for their hard work in making this day successful, as well as cooperation from the Balloon Classic, Communications, Security & Logistics and the Queen & Royal Ambassador committees. We could not do it without all of these wonderful volunteers!
Congratulations to all our finishers and our Kids Fun Run participants! Our overall female winners were: 1st place, LisaBurnett - 18:24.28 from Chagrin Falls; 2nd place, Mary Daly - 20:48.39 from Massillon; 3rd place, Allison Hershberger - 22:01.74 from Massillon. Male overall winners incllude, 1st place, Naimbai Njerakey, 15:20.68 from North Canton; 2nd place, Josh Szink - 16:09.25 from Canton; 3rd place, Tommy Rice - 17:19.64 from Canton.
